Sunday's Devotional - 11/01/2026

Good morning! Sometimes, we have a moment of carnality. We compromise or give in to temptation and need restored. A broken heart and contrite spirit is something God does not reject. When sin breaks our heart and damages our relationship with God, repentance is the key to restoration.

Knowing what you did and confessing it to Jesus is a good start. Asking for forgiveness and to be restored is next. Then, allowing His peace to wash over you as you receive His grace is important to having the joy of your salvation restored to you. His Spirit will then pick you up and help you get back on the path of righteousness.

He will help you not to fall into sin and temptation again. But you have to continue to walk with Him. You have to learn to let Him set the guardrails for your life. The nudge when you are about to do something you shouldn't is there to help you not make the wrong choice. Thank God today for His generous Spirit that restores us when we fall and helps to keep us from falling as you make a great day!
