Monday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! It's one thing to be freed by the truth, but it's another to live out that freedom every day. You have to continue in the word daily and partner with the Holy Spirit to live a lifestyle of freedom.

As long as you live on earth you will face temptation. You have to continually crucify the sinful desires of the flesh that naturally desires to do whatever you want whenever you want. In your own strength, it is impossible. It takes the help of the Holy Spirit. You have to be intentional about walking with Him every day.

When you let the Holy Spirit have control, you will find it a lot easier to walk away from things you used to walk into to. You will desire to please God and not your own desires. Ask God every day to help you crucify the desires of the flesh and for the Holy Spirit to lead you away from temptation. Ask for strength and for your heart, mind and spirit to be pure as you make a great day!
