Good morning! This verse reminds me of a lot of disasters the Lord kept me out of because of my lack of wisdom. So many bad relationships and stupid mistakes could have drastically changed the trajectory of my life if God had not intervened.
He is so good and is much better to me than I deserve. Today I'm reminded of this most as it is my wife's birthday. She is a treasured gift from God to me. As a teen, thinking I knew what was best for me, I had in mind what I thought was the ideal woman for me. I am so glad God knew better!
All the superficial, shallow desires would have put me in harms way, but God brought me a woman that blew me away when I saw her. She had such grace, poise, elegance and beauty. She was so smart and intimidated me with her inner strength. I fell in love with her before I ever had a conversation with her.
I wasn't saved, but God was steering my heart because He knew my future and the plans for my life. Through His divine providence, He gave me a woman who would lead me to Jesus, cast out my demons, pray for my healing and help make me whole.
Trust in the Lord and His ways; He knows what He is doing! Trust His plan even when it doesn't make sense or going in the direction you think is right. He will lead you to life and blessings to help you make a great day every day!
