Wednesday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! Have you ever felt like you are all alone in what you are facing like it's some kind of new attack no one has ever been through before? It is a tactic of the enemy to isolate you and make you feel like you are all alone. But God gives us a way out of the temptation and isolation.

He doesn't let us be tempted beyond what we can handle, but through Christ, the word and the Holy Spirit, He gives us the strength to walk away from it all with our integrity in tact. It doesn't mean we will not face challenges and trials beyond what we can bear, but it means temptations.

Too many people think this means you'll never feel the heaviness of life, but that's not what this means or says. Jesus felt the weight of the cross and it was more than He could bear. His temptation was to give up and not go through with it, but His resolve was to do the will of the Father. Because He overcame sin and temptation, we can overcome it too and have victory through His blood. Thank God today for the blood that helps us escape temptation as you make a great day!
