Thursday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! Prayer is an important part of understanding the Scriptures. When I got saved my pastor at the time told me to always pray for the Holy Spirit to reveal the Scriptures to me before I read them.

That changed everything for me. My eyes started to be opened to the word of God and my understanding grew beyond measure in record time. Each time you read the Bible, pray that the Holy Spirit would open the eyes of your understanding to see the treasure in God's word.

Ask Him to teach you and reveal His word to you before you start. When you finish, ask Him to write it on your heart. Watch the difference it makes in your life. I know it will make all the difference in your life as it did in mine. Make a great day!
