Thursday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! We have been adopted into a royal family in God's kingdom. He expects us to act with decency and dignity without being haughty and snobby. We're not better than others because we are saved.

We've just experienced the goodness of God and that should inspire us to live humbly and extend the same qualities towards others that God has towards us. We should clothe ourselves with compassion. We should choose kindness even when we have been wronged.

We should live with humility knowing we were guilty of our sins and apart from Christ, had no hope of them ever being removed. We should be patient, gentle and approachable with others, even when they are difficult. We should be patient and not hot-headed. We should be peaceful and loving with understanding. Seek to put these qualities on each day as you make a great day!
