Good morning! Who you walk through life with is important. Who you allow to have your ear will determine your decisions. Be sure to have godly counsel and stay clear of those who may be in your life but are ungodly. They will not give you godly advice.
If you hang out in ungodly places, don't expect to be surrounded by godly people. You will be full of opportunities for sin and temptation will take root. Deception will cloud your thinking and judgment. Flee the drama of bitter people. Don't engage in their gossip or badmouthing.
Distance yourself from the ungodly and take delight in the law of the Lord, for it leads to life and points you to Christ. Hide the law of God in your heart that you might not sin against Him. Love the Lord and be willing to walk away from ungodly relationships and behaviors. It will be tough at first but then you will realize you were just carrying around a bunch of dead weight and baggage. Freedom feels so good and Jesus gives us that freedom. Walk in that freedom as you make a great day!
