Good morning! There is a protocol for acceptable worship and the way we are to worship God. He doesn't accept strange fire on His altars. What I mean is you cannot mix the holy and the profane.
A perverted faith says, "I believe in God but I still live any way I want to. I don't need to go to church to be a Christian." You are not worshiping Him in spirit and in truth with that attitude. Worship means to bow and surrender.
If your heart and your spirit are not following your confession of belief then you prove yourself to be a liar. If your life does not line up with the truth of God's word, again, you make yourself out to be a liar. God does not accept this kind of worship. You must come to Him honestly, truthfully, humbly and surrender.
This is what God desires and whom He seeks as true worshipers. It's not about songs and music. It's about your heart bowing to God in total surrender. Align your spiritual posture today as you worship Him in all you do to make a great day!
