Good morning! Prayer is of the utmost importance and at the forefront of all Christian behavior and endeavors. Without prayer, nothing is accomplished. Praying the will of God is of equal importance.
That is why this verse is important for prayer because it gives us directions for how to pray for our leaders and nation. Are you praying for the leaders you dislike the same way you pray for the ones you do?
Do you pray as fervently for the leaders you dislike as you do for the ones you do? We are to be thankful for all our leaders because we trust in God and not in people. People will always let you down at some point. They are flawed and capable of sin and will have differences in opinions than you. Pray this way and that they lead us in such a way as to have quite, peaceful lives.
Pray they become godly and reverent instead of perverse and dishonorable. Pray for our nation to be unified and to let the Bible be our guiding light in all things legal, moral and spiritual. Pray hard as you make a great day!
