Good morning! This is another familiar verse today, at least to church folks. The word conformed means to be molded or shaped in thought and character into the likeness of something or someone else. Our thoughts and character should reflect who we belong to.
As Christians, we belong to Christ. He changes our thoughts and behaviors to be like His. We have to go through a specific change to be transformed. We are not the same after we receive Christ. The word transformed means to go through a metamorphosis. A complete irreversible change into a new creature from the inside out.
We must allow that change to continue as we grow to renew our minds. We are no longer sinners, we are cleansed by the blood of Christ to be made new; transformed into a new image and likeness. Renew your mind each day in Christ that you are not who you used to be. You are new in Christ and now are a different person. Give Him thanks for this and make a great day!
