Good morning! Learning to defeat the enemy of discouragement means being intentional with your thoughts and your speech. If you are intentional with these, your actions will follow.
You have to learn to submit to God's word and His power instead of submitting to the enemy of discouragement. When the thought comes in of being defeated, shut it down and speak this verse in its place.
Choose to focus on God's power, His mercy, His deliverance and His salvation. Sing songs about His power like "There's Power In the Blood" and "The Battle Belongs To the Lord." Find songs or make up your own to sing of God's power and mercy. He is your defender and refuge. He is the safe place for you to take shelter. Learn to preach to yourself to encourage and strengthen yourself in the Lord. Do this every day and you'll always make a great day!
